• 01Abundant glass types

  This catalog covers 17 types of optical glass for use in molded lenses. The glass type designation for these types begins with L-. They are also environmentally friendly, as they do not contain lead or arsenic.

We have prepared drawings and charts that graphically present the refractive index and the Abbe number but also other properties important in the selection of optical glass, including partial dispersion ratio, coloring, specific gravity, temperature coefficient of the refractive index (dn/dT) and the linear expansion coefficient.
