S-PHM52Q has improved processability and chemical durability of S-PHM52

We are pleased to introduce S-PHM52Q as an optical glass which has improved processability and chemical durability desired in the PHM region. S-PHM52Q has the same refractive index and abbe number as S-PHM52.
In addition, glass materials in the PHM region generally have a characteristic that the large value of dn/dT in the negative direction.
The dn/dT value of S-PHM52Q is close to 0, enabling optical design that suppresses the effects of temperature drift.

Water Resistance [RW(p)]: Class 1, Acid Resistance[RA(p)]: Class 3

2.Improved mechanical durability Abrasion (Aa): 313

3.The dn/dT value is close to 0 dn/dT  -0.7×10-6/℃

4.Low specific gravity (conventional ratio): 3.51
