The Company will take the necessary and appropriate security management measures for the management of personal information, including the prevention of leakage, loss, and damage thereof. The Company will also undertake the necessary and appropriate supervision of its employees and contractors (including subcontractors) in their handling of personal information. These security management measures for personal information have specifically been stipulated separately in the Personal Information Handling Regulations.

The Company’s Handling of Personal Information

1.Purposes of Use of Personal Information

The Company will use its collected personal information including names, addresses, postal codes, telephone numbers, fax numbers, and email addresses for the following purposes:

– For the co-users to provide information to you, including to report on labor-management discussions, and guide events and activities;

– To develop basic data on working conditions for labor-management discussions with the co-users.

3.Third-Party Disclosure of Personal Information

The Company will not disclose its collected personal information to any third party unless otherwise permitted under any of the following conditions:

– The Company has obtained your prior consent

– The Company has subcontracted the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to fulfill the purposes of use

– The Company has been required by law to do so

– It is necessary for the purpose of protecting human life, health, or property but difficult to obtain your consent

– It is especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the healthy development of children but difficult to obtain your consent

– It is necessary to cooperate with the national government or local public agencies in performing business stipulated by law but obtaining your consent may create a problem in performing such business

– The Company is to disclose your personal information to anyone falling within the scope of sharers under number 2. stated above.

4.Handling of Information Rendered Anonymous

(1)Developing information rendered anonymous

When developing personal information rendered anonymous (information of individuals obtained after the personal data being processed in such a way as to render individuals unidentifiable with any particularity and such personal data being made incapable of being restored to its original state or form by taking measures stipulated in the laws and ordinances), the Company will comply with the following:

– Apply appropriate processing according to the standards stipulated by law;

– Take security management measures according to the standards stipulated by law to prevent the leakage of information on deleted data or processing procedures;

– Publicly announce the types of information included in the information developed to render it anonymous;

– Bar itself from conducting activities to identify individuals from developed personal data.


(2)Disclosure of information rendered anonymous

When disclosing to any third party any information rendered anonymous, the Company will not only publicly announce the types of information (on the individual/s) contained in the information rendered anonymous and the disclosure procedure, but also expressly state to the receiving third party that the information to be disclosed is information rendered anonymous.

5.Procedures for Accepting Requests Including Disclosure and Correction of, and Suspension of Access to, Personal Information

The Company will, upon your or your agencys request, appropriately and promptly respond to notifications regarding the purposes of use, disclosure, detail correction, addition or deletion, access suspension, erasure, suspension of disclosure to any third party and disclosure about records of provision to any third party (hereinafter, Requests) concerning personal information collected by the Company. Please address such Requests to the following contact; however, be advised that the Company may not respond to your Requests if responding to them falls under any of the following conditions, in which case the Company will so notify you:

– It may harm your or any third partys rights or interests including life, health and property;

– It may cause a serious problem in the proper performance of the Companys business;

– It would violate any law or ordinance;

– It would otherwise be deemed acceptable under any law or ordinance.

Address your request to the contact (1) noted above; we will mail you a form for the Personal Information Requests. Please return it to the contact for Personal Information Inquiries with a document attached thereto to identify you or your agency.


(3)Document for your or your agencys identification

– Identification document with a portrait photo, e.g. drivers license, passport, personal ID number card, resident card, or special permanent resident ID: One of these is sufficient;

– Identification document without a portrait photo, e.g. health insurance card, pension book, etc.: Two of these are required. For the identification of your agency, documents identifying yourself and your agency must be accompanied by a certificate of power of attorney and a certificate of registered seal.


(4)Company response

The Company will send its response via certified mail to your address contained in the request.


(5)Handling fees

No handling fee will be required;

however, you will pay communication expenses including postages for sending your request documents etc., to the Company. The Company will pay the communication expenses including postage in sending documents etc.
